Closing the Company

Dear Supporters and Customers,

I have decided to close this company since I changed my professional focus recently. I moved to the academic world again to lecture and research in the field of game engineering at Hochschule Kempten, Germany and won’t have enough time to continue this venture

In case you are interested in getting

Release of Software “MedicalAR Mirror”

On the 1st of December 2013 we have released our software platform “medicalAR Mirror”. The software allows you to project anatomical data onto your body to get the impression of seeing through your transparent clothes and skin to view your organs. The medicalAR Mirror is steadily extended with Apps to make Augmented Reality more interactive and useful. Please contact us to discuss technical questions, license options or your concept of an application scenario.

We offer Software Development Services to augment the capabilities of the medicalAR Mirror in order to meet your requirements. Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss your ideas!

medicalAR UG (haftungsbeschränkt) founded in August 2013

The company medicalAR UG (haftungsbeschränkt) has been founded in August 2013 by Christoph Bichlmeier (CEO). As part of his doctoral theses about Augmented Reality being applied to medical topics, 2006 – 2010 and earlier related student projects, Christoph Bichlmeier developed and evaluated user interaction techniques and new methods of visualizing medical imaging data.

The medicalAR UG (haftungsbeschränkt) sells the Augmented Reality software medicalAR Mirror and special software development services related to this product. We are open to partnerships with other companies to augment the application domain of the medicalAR Mirror as well as with universities to address research topics in many aspects.

The medicalAR Mirror addresses the idea of providing the most intuitive view into the body at its anatomical structures. There is no need for printing illustrations in books, showing 3D models on monitors when you can simply see through your skin and clothes to explore the human anatomy.
